Organic Composted Dairy Manure - Mushrooms & Weeds

I ordered a truckload (10cuyd) of organic pit-washed composted dairy manure in April and spread it in my garden beds and on the lawn. About a month later, we noticed mushrooms popping up in it. That first round of mushrooms died pretty quickly, but they continue to make an appearance here and there. Also, a weed with 1-1.5" rounded leaves has been sprouting pretty thick. Both of these are only showing up where the compost was spread.

Has anyone else experienced this? I did this to help control weeds, not to introduce new ones. I had read that the composting kills the seeds. This load seemed a bit "fresh", but it was the first time I had ordered it, and I wasn't really sure what it was supposed to be like.

Thoughts? Thanks!
