Feeding the soil. Mushroom compost and aged manure

I had very heavy acidic clay soil and before I planted anything I amended the soil with plenty of very coarse sand and gravel to improve the drainage of the soil. I added Dolomite limestone (To increase PH and break the clay) and Rock flour and lots of mushroom compost and aged manure in the top part of the soil and used a tiller to work it in.

Every year I add about an inch of mushroom compost to the topsoil and generously spread some 3 years old aged cow manure. I fertilize my roses and plants with organic fertilizer (Chicken manure with added micro nutrients), a little blood flour and crushed Norwegian seaweed/kelp. Over the years my soil have become so much better and I know it so alive with micro organisms and worms and my roses are doing so well. What are you doing to keep your soil healthy?
