I picked up 20 flats of plants from Langley Fine Gardens as donation to this sale. Leda & Matt wanted me to take 20 more but I could'nt fit them in. If anyone is going / coming from Vashon this week before the sale, and would like to bring over plants,please let me know.
Langley is in Dockton , I am close to the Fauntleroy ferry dock if you need to drop off plants. :(Please email me & Eric, one of us will get it soon I hope).

This is turning out to be one huge sale. The organization has been masterful. Hats off to Digger Doris and her squadron of volunteers.

I announced the LeeAnna sale at work and put up a colorful poster with directions/time/date of the sale which people could tear off and keep. Several gardeners expressed interest.

There is the Central area swap, and also a Master Gardener's sale in Olympia so there is some area competition. I'll bring as much as I can haul and hope for a good turnout.

I want to keep this post up top. Be there or be square.

A couple people knew her & wanted to have a plant sale for her family. Alot didn't know her directly but she was one of us, and we have plants to help. 32 years old, she left behind a young husband with loads of medical bills And a 1 year old baby girl; Madeline Rose.

Drat! Is anyone in Bellevue who could run some New England Aster over for sale this morning? Just discovered it. I guess I probably don't have what to pot it up with either...well, maybe. If anyone can, let me know, and I'll look.

So, how did it turn out? Did a lot of people come?

I am eager to hear too. I dropped off my plants at 8:15 and a devoted troop of gardeners had things well underway: Expertly organized table after table of gorgeous stuff! Trees! Perennials: variety galore. Labels, bags, boxes. You guys are very organized and I'm glad the weather held out for the sale.

Let us know how it went, please. After your naps. Hope you had a good turnout for the Darby family.

I'd love to know too...I had really wanted to participate, but we had another obligation yesterday that didn't leave time for the 4 hour round trip to the sale site. Did I understand the weather held off, because we had rain beginning in afternoon well into the evening...

I hope someone will let us know how it turned out.

It was great!
We worked our butts off!
We had tons of plants and goodies.
The weather was great.
The customers were happy with their plant finds.
And the family really appreciated our efforts!

Congratulations and thank you to all of you who carried off this generous event. I had hoped to participate and wasn't able to get by, but am so pleased that the sale was a success.
