Prostanthera Rotunfifolia aka Mint Bush
This beautiful Australian native is in my local nursery right now, $8.95 for 1 gallon. They have one in a very large pot and it's 4 ft high - beautiful tiny blue flowers - in spite of its name, it's not a "mint" as we know it - but has a minty fragrance.
I live in Astoria where winters are usually mild, very little snow. My Sunset Book says zones 16, 17, and 19 - 24. The hang tag says hardy to 10 to 20 degrees.
Has anyone grown this in a Pacific NW climate? I thank you for your comments.
