This drought-tolerant West Coast native tree thrives with minimal water in difficult garden spots
Full StoryMy beautiful arbutus 'Marina' - I'm just checking to make absolutely sure before giving up hope - - -
All of this happened since our freezing weather. The leaves are all brown and dry, with just a vestige of green left on some, and not a hint of new green to be seen. There is a split up the trunk about two feet long that goes to the center in the worst place. The trunk diameter is about four inches.
The tree is about 5 years old. The information about hardiness was conflicting, but we decided it was mostly positive and bought it anyway.
It seems too obvious, but just tell me what you think anyway.
Thanks,
Maro
