I plan on having a 'work day' this weekend if the weather holds as promised. I will pick up the wood for framing the raised bed tonight or tomorrow, already have the dirt at home, just waiting for the 10 day Roundup clearance to end. I am only putting smaller flowers (16-26") up along the front walk in raised beds. Once I move them up to the front, I can plant the new taller ones in the older beds. I like Todd Monroe and have been trying to decide if it or Siloam Shocker will go. They look too much alike and I have limited room. I think Todd will win as it is a rebloomer. I had a seedling I meant to evict, but forgot to mark which of two plants it was-and I don't want to toss the wrong one, so it may end up there until next year. Other evictions/overgrowns are going out to the holding bed at Dad's for next years spring plant sale-that's where I get my flower money! Once I get that done, I am hoping to have one segment of the back bed cleared so I can add things to the soil as it is full of clay there and the daylilies aren't fond of it. Then in the spring, I can cross things from the other side of the back bed and amend that side of the bed. Will probably drive husband crazy by then. :)

This open pollenated seedling showed up between Paul's Glory and Old Glory where I'd had my daughters potted Loyalist the previous summer. Later is the season the green/greeen variegation is barely visible. I am waiting to see what this year brings, being its 3rd season. Note the leaf shape is not like either 'Glory'. They are more like Loyalist. Anyway, I call it Theresa's Glory. Les

You guys are knocking the top out of GWeb's server, I betcha. What a hosta marathon thread. Confused Angel....with the ferns, Mac, I think that is one of the best photos of it I've seen, and now I would love to get one of those. Sigh....so many hostas, so little time/room. Santa, yes, one went heat dormant in 2012. None in 2013, but so far 4 in 2014. I'll do another thread on that one. Could not get my computer to respond last time I was on, and gave it a break just turned it on after dinner. I was out working heavy duty all day in the garden, shuffling things around so the better looking plants had what they needed, the wimpy ones could go to ICU, the bloomers all get close together, and the whole place get refreshed.

THe cabinets look great! It looks like everything is coming together (basing on the last pictures of your kitchen you showed- down to the wall studs). I can't wait to see the finished product. I am sure it is difficult not to direct your eye to the mineral and black spots, but you probably will not even notice them once your kitchen is complete! I know easier said than done, but I love the way it is starting to look ! KEep us posted with all the changes! :)
