From Mass. wanting your advise

Hello everyone:

Yes im back and ite been a while. Im still working 13-16 hour days and im still breatheing, whoo hoo! Ok, some of you Might have heard about My love For nature and protecting it. I am an active member of a Non- prof organization that protects land and endangered species, both plant and animal. The area They cocver here in Massachussetts is Brimfield, Sturbridge, The brookfields, Warren, Palmer, Monson, Wales, Holland and southbridge. Through the years i have been donating plants that i have grown from seed that i have tradad with you guys. But in the last oh ide say ...three years, ive become more interested in giving them plants that are the true native species of the area or atleast to the north east. I know i say true and thats probably not the best word to use as i knowmost "true" plants that were native were mostly sedges and all others were introduced. but you know what i mean. So in the last few years my interests have been focusing on Host plants and native woodland plants. I started a Grove of asclepias in my yard. Mostly asclepias Incarnata( cinderella and Ice ballet) and asclepias Syriaca. The syriaca ( known to be invasive and i kept a close eye on) Made a fantastic Host plant for the monarchs and i provided some netting over the plants to protect the larva from birds and i was lucky enough to see several Of them go through their stages and develop into beautiful flying flowers. and i have started several other plants in my yard for the wildlife and donated many more to the organization. BUt Ide like to Have more of a variety to offer. Im limited to space and for the first time since money is tight Im going to try winter sowing this year. Many of them i will put out in pots and take them in a few weeks earlier to give them a start. However in not confident that the plants will be of good enough size to be ready for the plant sale in May for the organization. But i have plants that need thinning and those will be the ones to go if i do not suceed, as time ticks. I already have a nice assortment of seeds but ide like to acquire a few more. Does anyone out there have any suggestions as to what plants or seeds i should try that are a more "native" species to my area? Your suggestions are greatly welcomed. and it may take some time to get back to you but i promise I WILL! Thank you! Missy
