The trees will be bare root. Plant them as soon as you can dig into the soil. In the mean time heel them in to keep their roots moist. As for the plants that will come green, I'd wait until either last frost date in the area (which may be too late) or past likely frost date and protect them if any more frosts come your way. Temporarily bury them in straw or even snow if need be to protect them from a hard frost (>4 hours below 30F, which may include wind chill). All of them will grow up from their roots (rhizome) if you keep them alive.

heaven- do you have the ability to take your plants outside for a month or so during the fall to get chill hours. if yes, i would strongly recommend a mauritius lychee plant (my fave fruit). if limited strictly to non chill plants, u may want to consider jaboticaba- a delicious grape like fruit, that i am growing. my warm weather collection includes guava, lychee, jaboticaba, fairchild mango, 3 diff lychees, and 5 citrus. do you have any pics of your plant set up- would love to see. you should def post this question on the tropical fruit forum- you will get a much better response. Loquat grows well. Just needs afternoon shade and occasional magnesium feeds. Guavas, White Sapote, and Mangoes do as well, but those three require intensive frost protection (lights, blankets, et al) to prevent them from freezing to the ground. The biggest problem with growing tropicals out here is the winter frost. If you can overcome that, you're in good shape.
