How about not painting anything and just putting up loads of painting and photos (obviously one's that don't mind stream) - almost everything looks great on a white background especially if the frames are coloured. You could really go for it and make an eclectic yet sleak/clean white bathroom. Just an idea....little blast of colour everywhere, all different sized works.

Kitchen floor and living room, dining, entry, halls: Karastan Belleluxe engineered hardwood: Pashima finish. There is a beautiful gray in this wood that might not be visible in these pictures. I'm obsessed with this floor. Specs: 3/4" oak, seven inch planks (maybe 7-1/2"). Fake slate porcelain tile by Daltile in black for the adjacent family room where the dogs live, and laundry room, wet bar area. Our number one choice for quartz: Arizon Tile Silver Stallion Our current top choice for backsplash tile: 2-1/2 by 9-3/4 Arizona Tile in Pearl (very pale gray). Floor, Pearl Concerto Tile at the top, Silver Stallion quartz sample, Concerto tile in White. Flooring is locked and loaded, delivery is the end of this week or early next week. Cabinets arrive next Monday. I hope our selections work well together. What do you think, @Diana Bier ?

Hi, thank you for your comment. No, architecturally it's not. So I've installed MCM light fixtures and own MCM furniture, but I feel like because the outside isn't MCM at all, I should keep some of the more traditional, upscale aspects of the house like the wainscotting. I have considered it though! I mainly just don't want to spend extra money on a new fireplace design. Paint color wise, I feel it's safer to use the same white across the board. I'm just not sure what the experts say.

Hard no to white on the exterior. White on the interior depends what else you've got going in the rest of the house. In the one interior pic you posted, the wood looks great with the dark windows, to my eye white would cheapen that look. I would just stick with the plan for the black/black -- bite the cost bullet and be patient for what you want, otherwise you might regret it. I'm curious -- why would black limit the warranty?
