I am supposed to be cleaning my house for a graduation party this Saturday!!! and where am I? online reading everything that I missed this morning!!! dont you people ever sleep? You are TERRIBLE!!! I can here YOU calling me when I walk in the door and then I cant get ANYTHING done!! WHAT AM I TO DO?

okay...I just hope that nobody notices all my Hosta dirt on my kitchen floor, or in the tub( why would anyone look there, but my mother!!)

okay calm down Paul (talking to myself) Bordines hostas are probably still 33% off on Sunday, we'll just make the drive and everything will be okay!!

I just wanted to let you know how HOOKED on this forum (and Hosta (god forbid i spell that wrong, LOL) I am!!

PS Cactus singular is Cacti? so shouldnt Hosta singular be Hosti? LOL (uh... dont go there!!)

I'm heading for bed and HAD TO check in to see what anyone may have had to say since I last checked--just ONE
more time!!!!

We need to go to sleep--we've got work ahead to do!!!LOL

Memo, thanks for asking. Remarkably, she's still here. I was afraid for her for a few days. She got very quiet and only stayed on the sofa. She is a funny kitty and gets her feelings hurt so easily. I think she was PO-ed that my DH's parents came but went out with him and didn't spend the day here. She loves them! So this morning I picked her up (she usually hates that) and told her it was either back to normal or I let the doctor know we had quality of life issues. Wouldn't you know, she gets up, eats and goes to the toilet. Then drinks. I went out, came home and here she is again, eating and drinking, sitting beside me and interested in the birds outside. She was just in Boo Boo funk! Today I'll go and get some more lobster and clam dinner - her favorite!

Sometimes when it seems I can't stop reading the hosta discussions but I have things to GET DONE, I set the timer to read and post for 20 minutes or so and then 40 minutes of whatever I'm trying to avoid, then that gets me a reward of 20 more minutes of hosta forum!!

Anyway, it works for me.

I have also challenged myself to be completely caught up within 20 minutes or less which means I focus to get all the information....but then when I'm caught up, I just go read the old message from before I found you all.

Don't you wish there was a forum LIKE THIS for everything you were interested in. This is a REALLY GOOD group.

I too am having people over and it's tomorrow afternoon! I do have an excuse if I don't get everything done inside as I have spent time away from home most of the day for 5 of the last 7 days. (brother and sister in law both in hospital 1 1/2 hours away, brother became ill and admitted while visiting wife) What'a a little dust and dirt between friends? This has got to be the last post I read till I've finished dusting (I hope).

Now if they tour the garden I'm in trouble. They'll have to ignore everything else and just look at my hostas.
