I hope this helps a little more on what the Berries look like. I will try to crop the summer ones a little better and see what I can do to make them clear enough. I really do appreciate all the help you all have given me thus far. Thank you again.

Update! It's a pineapple! I'm so very pleased. Over the past week or so it's gone from purplish, to dark green, and yesterday I saw the bright yellow. Wandered over to look at it and could smell it... mmmmm! Noticed that it was beginning to fall off its stalk, so picked it this morning. I think I'll give it a day or two to completely ripen though. I've finally beaten the squirrels to something!

If the stalks themselves are gone, it's deer. If the bare stalks are still there (except perhaps the last few inches of the growing tip), but the leaves are missing, and only the stems that support the leaves remain (technically not stems or branches but petioles -- each petiole supports a single compound leaf), you probably have hornworms.
