I have one for several years. My large mother plant died of rot but I was lucky it had a small pup. Pictured with Aloe that was given to me. It never produced pups and the one time it did, rot got to it. I left it out too late in fall with too much rain and cold. It is slow growing. Stush

I think we've got a disconnect somewhere, Carolyn. :) The tomato plants were variegated, but she did not say it was the variety Variegated. I googled 'variegated tomato' to find more info and only found reference to the variety Variegated, which, as you said, is a solid red fruit. **** Thanks for the clarification Stacy. None of the orange, green striped ones I mentioned above have variegated foliage. Actually, other than the variety Variegated, I don't know of any other variegated foliage ones that come true from seed, and while there might be something like that at the TGRC site,varieties there are not available to the public, so it sure stretches my imagination that someone would bother to vegetatively propagate some thing like that, even if they had access to it. On the other hand what's the chance that what that woman has is a mutant of the variety Variegated. Problem there is that there would have to be something more than a single spontaneous mutation for both a color change and stripes to happen at the same time. But I've seen some pretty strange mutations from time to time. Could you ask her where she got her orange fruited, cream and green variegated foliage one and if it comes true from seed? Also please ask her if ALL fruits on a plant were as you described or ONE fruit was as you describe. And here I'm thinking of what's called a possible somatic mutation. Will be waiting for both those answers and your report back on the variety Variegated, and yes, I did get your e-mail. I also found this blog, they actually got it to come back after it had looked dead. I have read it is hard to care for (so I wont feel bad when I kill it and I am happy I got the clearance ones!)
