Ceanothus/New Jersey Tea

A few years ago on my way home from the shore, I purchased a beautiful shrub with delicate blue flowers at a local produce stand. The fellow I bought it from had no info about the plant. I have put it on my deck in a container and brought it in for the winter. I was looking through one of my garden books today and I think this might be a wild snowball or New Jersey tea (Ceanothus).

Does anyone know if they are hardy in Pennsylvania?
