I found some plants growing along a stream bed where people dump garden trash. My aunt says its (moo - lyne) but I dont know how to spell it so I cant research it with any success. It is perennial, leaves are dark green, with saw-tooth leaves, and the most interesting feature is that they left very tall ( 6 feet or so) square stalks, that reportedly produce seeds birds love, on a branching flower head at the top of the tall square stalk. I transplanted some, and stalks are beginning to grow. I would love to know its name and proper spelling. I am in central Maine.
