Need help iding a plant by its leaf

Hi, haven't been here for a while, but have kept gardening when not birding. Last year I began using wildflowers or native plants and have a row of 9 in one location which is mostly shady. Beside a Black Cohosh which is trying to grow (2", few stems and leaves) is a larger plant with fairly large unique leaves and it does not look like any weed I have ever had so wondering if it is a wildflower or ? I plant few years ago and forgot about. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for any responses.

Agree. It has already bloomed, I am sure, but the leaves will grow somewhat larger over the summer and persist if you have enough rain.

Those plants look healthy, and it's normal to lose a few leaves after a repot. Look up plant edema and see if you think that may be going on. I use a chunky mix also but still get that on some leaves periodically. Fluctuations in temp outside are impossible to control, and a lot of them are out where they get rained on. I remove those leaves and don't become alarmed unless leaves are being lost at a rapid rate (or there just aren't many to spare to begin with.)

Thank you both so much, sorry I was only able to post the "link" -- still learning how to copy photos into the message. You are right also (as I'm sure you realize) as I asked a ladyfriend who has 4-5 acres and has planted mostly natives, etc. for years, also tags and releases Monarchs every year. I realized after she told me that and I read your replies that I had planted Bloodroot 4 years ago and it came up (love the white flower) first year and not after that. BUT, it was 5 feet away from that spot. My friend said that they can move but also that ants can carry the seed and perhaps that's how it "moved". Thanks again for your help.
