I've created a lovely native shade garden in my backyard made up of , wild ginger, canada cloumbine, jack in the pulpit, yellow trillium, an bishop's cap. I have mild Autism and will be leave my parents home ( its in their back yard,) for a group home setting in a few years, I'm worried the new Homeowner when my parents sell the house will see my shade garden as a weed patch and it'll get dystroyed

So, I'm wondering if there are any rarer plants (Lady slippers are my thinking) That would hopefully scare them into believing it would be a crime or at least immoral to harm what Ive done. I understand there are heavy fines if one digs up lady slippers that is why I think planting one in my garden would ensure that the garden ( to a novice I'm sure they are all lumped into this catagory)

Are there any good ones to grow in St paul MN
