help with ID of small yellow wildflower & a tiny spring ephemeral

Can anyone help me identify these plants?

The first is growing in north central Minnesota in acidic, sandy soil near a lakeshore. It's small (only a few inches off the ground) has silvery green foliage that reminds me vaguely of Dutchman's Breeches (althogh it's clearly not), and has clusters of small, bright yellow, trumpted-shaped flowers. The stems are pink.

The second is in the same basic location, near the base of a tree. It's what I'd consider a "spring ephemeral" flower--here today, gone tomorrow. These flowers are very small (about 2-3 inches) and have pale pink tulip-shaped flowers which are not upright.

Any help identifying these plants, and any information about them (are they problem plants or plants to protect?) would be appreciated!
