Also two others - the McHenry County Defenders will have their sale on Sunday May 1st at McHenry County College from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm. They will also have organically grown heirloom vegetable plants available. This is one of the largest and oldest native plant sales in the Chicagoland area.

The Barrington-based Citizens for Conservation have their sale on Saturday, May 7 from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. The location is at Flint Creek Savanna on Route 22. I don't have the exact address, but it is directly across the highway from Good Shepherd Hospital. Just find the hospital then follow all the cars on the south side of the road.

And the Greater Dupage Chapter of Wild Ones is having their native plant sale on May 21 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon.

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Members will pick up their pre-ordered plants, and there will also be hundreds of plants and many garden items for sale at a great price. Checks or cash accepted. Please come and tell all your friends!

Peoria Wilds will have their Native Plant Sale May 14 9 to 4 at the Forest Park Nature Center.
