red yucca

i have a two year old red yucca. four days ago i divided the plant into three plants. the two smaller plants seem to be doing well. however, the larger plant is now very flat, kind of limp and seems yellowed at the base of each leaf spike. what did i do wrong? i watered all three the day of transplant and have not watered since. all are in full sun. i presume i got all the roots. will this plant that is "flat" (as if someone sat on it) bounce back up?...will new growth come from the center? the plant seemed to go downhill the following day. thx any help appreciated.
