Immune to Round-Up?

So get this.

I did a tour with Round-Up through the yard and acres.

Did my diligent spraying of briar roase, wanna-be poison ivy, and dandilions.

Days later .... nothing was dead.

So I figured Ok, this container was from last year, evidently it must have nulified itself.

I bought another, new container from Home Desparate.

Made my rounds (as it were) again. 3 days later, a few things were dying, yet the things I really want dead, such as the briar rose and poison ivy, are not.

I'm about to go through a 3rd time, using a heavier concentration that that which is instructed on the bottle. Previously, this has been just fine and things died beautifully.

My friend down the road and LynnT are having the same trouble. Is our plant life becoming immune?

An off-topic question. Why do we bother with a board called "conversations?" We do it here anyway, the traffic there is so slow we could actually incorporate it into this board, perhaps prefacing it with OT or NPD (Non-Plant-Discussion) or something silly. Just curious and not wanting to 1) miss anything, or 2) have to remember to browse that board.
