strange weather - plants coming up early

I've never posted anything here but I have a question. I have gardened a number of years - learning as I go (aka killing a few things along the way) but this year I don't know what to do with this weather.

I planted tulips and other spring bulbs last fall for the first time and just my luck we are having unusually warm weather here in Dakota County. They are coming up already!!! will they be ok in a frost/snowstorm? if we have one before may? Do I cover them?

I also Winter sowed for the first time this year! yikes..they are coming up too. do I have to cover them or bring them in under lights if it snows?

any help welcome! thanks.
