[g] Some of my daffodils, in another area, have the neck sticking out of the ground too. I'm excited because it is my Fragrant Rose Daffodils that I am very fond of. I didn't know they would multiply like this. I wish I had a larger garden that I could plant some distance away from the house, in a meadow and have a huge display and not have to think about the dying foliage that far from the house. I was just looking at my front bed and there is a Pennisetum next to a Nepeta Walker's Low and I thought adding some bulbs underneath that Nepeta foliage has to hide it well. Plus if I remember right, the Nepeta gets going pretty early. I also see an ornamental oregano that is sprawling along the ground that might hide some daff foliage.

I am guessing you have a pop up blocker on that is blocking the download box from appearing if you clicked on those links I provided and still could not get it. Yes any program you install will have to make changes to your computer how else would it install, it has to make changes to the registry and add itself into the system. Just removing Norton from add remove is not sufficient you need to follow the directions I provided and the link to the removal tool for Norton. Norton is extremely intrusive and even using the removal tool will not get it all. How are you getting the question for Avast to make changes if you are saying it did not even download? Tell us exactly what is happening when you go to the download links provided. Do you see a blue box appear with the .exe and the save dialog? If not what do you see what is happening? Did the pdf for install instructions help?

Green Zeus, I have NO idea how he managed to screw it up. Not only did I give him the drawing shown, I wrote in the exact measurements on the drawing. I think he must have flipped the drawing (or one of his workers did), because they managed to screw it up so badly that there is a hole for a recessed light where the over-fridge cabinet will be!!! Unbelieveable! Anyway, I've been talking to BF about the 2 dimmer issue, and for some reason he thinks two dimmers are a good idea, so I may leave those, but obviously they're going to have to redo the entire ceiling. I'll be lucky to get back into my apartment by christmas at this rate...

Hi, Dimmers do blow when the bulb blows. It happened to me and yes it sort of gets expensive at $US 35 a dimmer. What happens is that when the bulb blows is is often that you get a bright flash when you turn it on. Then nothing it is dead. That bright flash is the bulb drawing lots of current in a current surge. That current surge typically fries the dimmer. The breaker will not trip because it all happens in a fraction of a second, much faster than the breaker can react to. The dimmer you can replace yourself. However remember to be careful when ever you are dealing with electrical power. I would also recomend getting a tester called a 'Volt Tick' or 'VoltAlert' see the link. These are about $US 20. Fluke makes a good one, but you can get other brands at your local store, e.g. Home Depot. What they do is alert you to live power. You do not have to make contact with the copper wire, just place the tester near wires. I found it realy useful to check to see that your power is off before touching anything. Replacing the dimmer is a 30 minute job for a once in a while fixer like me. Pros can do it in like 10 mins or less. You will need a screwdriver and some wire nuts and a new dimmer.
