Lily Identification

I have some small wild lilies, maybe, which are growing in my lawn already before the centipede grass in Columbia, SC. They only have 4-5 lily-like elongated green shafts, which are hollow, pointed at the end and smell strongly like garlic, but not exactly. They usually have only one light purple flower about 5 inches high on a slender stem There are 6 or 7 petals per flower, which come to a point on the end, and the flowers are only 3/4 to 1 inches across. They resemble violet flowers. The veins under the flowers are darker and continue down the seed pod. I like them, but not in the lawn. I don't see them growing anyplace else in yard, where we have many other lily varieties. Can someone identify them for me? Thanks. Harper
