Comments (7)Using the search feature, I found http://forums.gardenweb.com/discussions/2003607/show-me-your-trellis?n=103 which has a lot of trellis information. I use a system developed by Zeedman. The uprights are 8 foot T posts which are 7 feet apart. They could be farther apart. They stick 6 feet out of the ground. There are PVC T connectors on top through which I run the top horizontal supports which are 3/8 inch re-bar. About 12 inches from the ground is more re-bar for the bottom horizontal support. Comments (10)murraysmom, we had a full fledged blizzard here last night. It had been raining then snowing since late afternoon, but by a little after 9pm. the wind and snow began big time. It was a white-out for the cars on the highway beyond, they had their flashers on. It continued for 45min. then the wind finally died down. This morning there was at least 3" of snow on the ground and the road out front was ice. Now temp is going up so ice is gone and I see green patches coming out from beneath the snow.
