Help Me Save My Nikko Blue

mulchwoman

Hi all

I managed to keep my Nikko Blue hydrangea alive (it was planted in March) despite a 3 month drought by watering it deeply every other day. It thrived under those adverse conditions. We then had 9 straight days of rain. It now seems to have powdery mildew. We are due for more rain this weekend. Is there anything I can do to boost the condition of this plant before we have frost and it has to face the winter? Any help would be most welcome.

Thanks in advance.

Pat
