Cameron, Your Lavender and Pinks in front of your Knockouts are glorious! What is the Clematis on the fence? Slobber, slobber....just beautiful! You could send some of that rain my way!!! We are high and dry! I am mighty tired of dragging that 100 feet of garden hose. I am only blessed by having my own well water. If drainage is a problem, build up the soil where you plant your lavender plants with a lot of sand, rocks and gravel. Then you can water your other plants all you want (or all that rainfall) and the lavender will be happy too. ~Annie

I was thinking of planting them in my front yard because there's a bit of a raised bed there that drains into a drain, so I figured it would work well. My lavender are doing really well there. Should I plant the iris bulb slightly above ground and then cover it, still? Should I use -any- fertilizer at all, or none? Thanks Renee, you're a dear!! I realize now that I just really got enough for one spot, when I wanted to put them in multiple spots... I wonder if there's still some place I can order from or if I should be good and see if I kill these first. haha... I think I was mistaken about Persian Berry, I just loved the color so much I wanted it to be a rebloomer! I see "Aplomb" looks similar to Persian Berry and is listed as a rebloomer.
