Garden rash; iris a culprit?

My doctor says the rash on my legs and arms is contact dermatitis and advises me to STAY OUT OF THE GARDEN. Ha! Obviously not a gardener herself!

I've been looking for list of garden plants that are associated with dermatitis (basically a poison oak type rash) but can't find any that are very comprehensive. I am hoping that iris are not the cause. Anyone have experience with this?

Also likely suspects and recent additions to my garden: California poppies, wild geramium, crimson clover, and ferns. But I can't find anything on the web implicating any of these guys either.

(I'm a hiker from way back and I know what poison oak looks like-- I definitely haven't been in its vicinity for 10 months. And have no dogs to pass it along.)

If I can't figure out who the culprit is, you may see me gardening in a "biohazard" jumpsuit!

Help!
