Can youy help me save my tomaotes please
Comments (13)Jimmy, I would advise two things. Back off on the spray a bit. I don't know the makeup of your washing up liquid, but you may be too strong on your mixture. If you have a small vacuum cleaner, you can actually vacuum the flies off. I do some of my plants that way when the whitefly starts. This helps reduce the number of times I need to spray. Don't trim off the leaves. With the kind of temperatures you're getting, some edge browning would not be unexpected. If you trim too many, the plant can't do enough photosynthesis and will either perform badly or die. The damage to the leaves that I see in your pictures do not look like bacterial spec or spot. It "could" be the beginning of blight, but not far enough along to be absolute. So, I would recommend you wait a bit. You may have to resort to a chemical spray to control the critters. Lincolnshire, eh. I was at RAF Lakenheath, just north of Newmarket. All of the weather came off the North Sea and across The Wash and was cold and wet. But, the British people were warm and accommodated us Yanks as best as they could stand. Got to meet Prince Charles when he toured our facility. Lots of good memories of the time we spent there. My wife and I still talk about the wonderful market on the square at Mildenhall village, and our annual trip to Newmarket for the running of "The 1000 Guineas". Let us know how you do. Comments (17)You need to get them growing properly first before thinking of what you do with them at a later stage. If you are new to this, best keep them individually potted as they are different types, you can always group pots in a container and cover rims with stones for a group look! Whether they will pull round remains to be seen as they look pretty damaged at the moment. You won't be able to buy a soil off the shelf, sadly no one sems to sell anything that resembles a good fast draining mix, that's why we need the separate ingredients to mix together. Comments (1)all palms lose the oldest fronds [if thats the proper term]... every year ... i can not tell form the pix.. if the worst affected are the oldest.. lowest parts ... not counting the new plants down below ... increased light was probably a good idea ..... but you wont see results form that for months ... not much happens inside a week ... do you drag the plant outdoors for summer?? ... it probably should be.. if possible ... full bright shade ... i found a lot of houseplants.. really enjoy the fresh air.. and seem to store energy for the long winter months ... it really makes a difference in the long run ... again.. if possible ... im not sure the humidifier adds much.. unless you have a forced air furnace screaming all winter ... and even then.. you would be raising general humidity not just the space around the plant ... how about another pic of the whole plant ... from a bit further back...and how about a big city location ... welcome to the forums ... ken...See MoreBluRdgMtns
