Star Trek Garden

Hi Everyone, I have just joined this site.

I have become a "hostaholic" in the last 3-4 years. :) My husband tends to grumble when I buy a new one so I cleared a shady corner and planted him a Star Trek garden since he is a long-time trekkie. These are the plants I have so far and I was wondering if anyone knows of any others that fit the theme (which I may have stretched a bit!)

Captain Kirk, Enterprise, Starship, Vulcan, Dark Star, Galaxy Light, First Mate, Lunar Orbit, Stardust.

He loved the gesture and it gave me a chance to buy new varieties!

oh dear, never mind...I should have read farther down the page before I posted the question! Thanks for the suggestions for all of you who answered the previous question.

Welcome Chris-E,

Your Star Trek Garden sounds like a good way to have your cake and eat it too. There is a hosta called "Spock's Ear" but I've never seen it for sale anywhere. It sounds like a good one to add to your garden.

I too have a hosta fetish and some Star Trek hostas. In addition to Captain Kirk, Vulcan, and the aforementioned Enterprise, there is Starship. I have Kirk and Enterprise, and I declared to myself that 'El Capitan' is also a Star Trek hosta! (If you are a real fan that will of course make sense.) Unfortunately, I just got these 3 hostas 2 years ago and they are not ready to split yet. Otherwise I'd be glad to arrange an Enterprise/Vulcan trade... Thanks for the photo tip!I need some larger,Like your babies heading for the lake, are they? Rosie, that was part of the plan, make him his own garden so he can;t complain, he really doesn't anyway.
