People who want a specimin plant in a hurry will pay for an "un hacked" big mature plant....
I don't know where to find those people but for maybe an ad in the paper....or perhaps somewhere like a Farmer's Marketw here they sell plants.
If you were closer...I could certainly direct you to someone...

Try to sell it on Craigslist.
HOWEVER, be aware that people on craigslist are often looking for "the green and white one". So, be sure you advertise for collectors and if you find out the variety, include the name.

The photo looks like Touch of Class. I too have hostas that get too big in pots and when I run out of room, I give them to friends. No one around here knows what they are. Do you have a local hosta society? At least the members would know what you are wanting to sell and would appreciate what you have to offer.

Yes I remember now it is Touch of Class, I bought in 05 from Direct Hostas as a liner or a plug that I can now buy myself for not much, I think I still have a photo of it. Well this is a picture of it when it was three years old I think?

It has done very well in that pot and it is almost blue for the fist time.

I heard that there was a hosta group in the area but I can not find them. Zone 7 is not the best zone, it gets real hot in July and August and does not cool down until mid September so from June 10 until Sept 10 its hot, as in too hot.

IT's a beauty! I'd take it off your hands in a hurry if I were anywhere near :-) Touch of Class is just an absolute favorite!

Hey, where you at? ;o) Zone 7 in what state? ... I sell my violets on craigslist and get great response. List to your local area for local pickup and not shipping if you don't want to break up the plant. People are looking for bargains though. You'll only make a few bucks but take comfort in knowing it has a new home. Or look up a hosta society in your area.. google it.. and maybe you can make a connection with someone.

I think if you posted your address on this Forum, some one would show up tomorrow with cash in hand.

If I lived near you, I would purchase it. Everyone I know likes full size hostas not the ones that you order then nurse to size. I purchase the hostas at nurseries for 15-20 bucks due to it being a good size. I like instant gratification ( nice size hosta the first year I get it).

Sorry that I can't get there to buy that beautiful thing.Alaska is to far away.I had two of them when I lived in Wa.state and had to leave them. I'm starting over and finding what lasts up here.In one of the pics, you have a Japanese Painted Fern, just gorgeous.

Wow you are a zone 2 or 3 that is green house weather. Hydroponics is the way to go, have you looked into it yet, as in vegetables. Well you should be out fishing now, call me when you are planking OK.
