White Impatiens Flowers Turning Pink!! What's Happening?

My neighbor feels like she is losing her mind. The beginning of June you helped solve a problem with her impatiens that was not budding outside. She had had it in the house all winter just like she always does and it grew like a weed but never had any buds or flowers. She put it outside and it still didn't. She cut it back and all of you said to give it some time outside and it will be fine.

You were right, it is now full of hundreds of buds (it is in a 14 inch pot) and is blooming. Problem is this was a white impatiens and the flowers are a pale pink now. She didn't bring in the wrong pot for the winter because she only has white ones. Is it possible that the flowers can change color? Last year she added some new white ones to the pot, but it was all white until now. I've never seen this happen before, has anyone else? Any suggestions on getting the flowers to bloom white. (this poor elderly woman hates pink impatiens and is thinking of throwing the plants out.!!!!
