There is one picture I think is particularly lovely; (the 10th one down) with wispy white and lavender flowers and one with pink petals in the middle. Can you tell me what those flowers are? I have been able to work outside all this week. The Hummingbird Migration Map for 2007 was posted this week and last year the first hummer was sighted on Feb. 25. I usually see my first one of the season during the frist two weeks of March. Went riding through the hayfield and found violets blooming everywhere. Spring has to be around the corner.

Brenda, it is nice when even family members are enablers, eh? LOL!! I actually keep telling my husband "There's this garden in Western NY that someday we have to go visit!" I would love to see your beautiful garden some day. The different areas you have planted and the variety is amazing. I've been lusting for some more photos from you. Would love to see what you have on file for your veggie garden from last year if you have any time to post some. Goodness! I finally cracked open the catalog for my local nursery who I really like to support. She's a true plantswoman who I so enjoy chatting with, etc. I just sent an email over to her with my "list" (is was a long one) of plants to put aside for me for pickup when they open. It's a terrible habit I have of giving her a list each year for pickup. But my birthday is always right around when she opens, so it's a birthday present, right?!?! LOL!

This sounds like fun and I think I could have just copied missindia's answers! lol I think we are long lost twins! But I am going to pass this time, as I have several projects in the works. Missindia, usually partners will email each other first to get to know each other better. Then you fill up a box with things you think your partner would like... something they collect, candles, candy, items from your state or area, windchimes, handmade and seasonal items.... some people also send things for the rest of the family and/or furbabies. I have sent (and received) vintage things too! We've never had price limits. You can get a flat rate box at the post office. I think it is $7.95?? and you can fill it with whatever you want with no weight limit. You guys have fun! Maybe I will join the next one?
