I'd run a the Diagnostic Software (SeaTools) Seagate-exclusive hard drive diagnostic software designed to troubleshoot most hard drive issues. To me it sounds like a bad sector on the HD. You know what that clicking is. I'd be saying why me!, but the same problem on multiple new HD's, I'd be scratching my head. BTW - beautiful system you built there. Thought so. Never hurts to make sure. I've never heard of such, but I'm not on top of everything, either. Glad I could give you guys a good chuckle. No I don't have a problem right now, just asking for future reference. And, I have no intention of opening up a power supply to take a peek. I know enough about electricity to have a pretty healthy respect. I was talking to him because I was curious about the mini computers they had on display. He didn't seem to think too highly of Acer. It surely won't hurt to have a larger power supply. You do need to be careful, some manufacturers computers won't except a Standard Power Supply. I have a Dell sitting in my Repair Room that will only except a certain Power Supply. I have however worked on a number of manufactured computers and had no problem replacing with a standard power supply, just check your measurements against theirs. Also make sure that the picture of the back where you would screw it in matches the back on the psu you're looking at! Here is a Link for a 430w PSU that's $10 cheaper after a Rebate. A neighbor of my folks (1950-2004) was a “plumber”. His home had many commercial items. His Home was heated with a boiler (hot water), very uncommon in the area. I met the buyers of that home, a few years after his death. The new owners mentioned the low cost of heating, but the very high cost of replacing the boiler when it needed replacement. RIP Mr M
