Hummingbird screen saver

Hi, my computer went and I lost everything, I had a hummingbird screen saver that I had got from this forum. Just wanted to know if anyone has it and if I could get it some how? Thanks Charlie

I have no idea which folder is which. I know that I found the previous instructions and Randy was correct. The folder I had to put the screen saver in was C:\WINDOWS\system32. And all you people are much smarter than me with these darn machines. But thank you again for your help. Debbie.

Please!! Help with Power saver options

it should not get that hot if it has adequate air flow under it and around it, are you keeping it on a hard solid surface with an air space under it? are the fans running? I think I would invest in a cheap cooler pad to put it on, they have little fans built into them and you set the laptop on it which helps keep the air flowing, that kind of heat will kill your computer. Someone else will help you with your power buttons I do not have Vista. I never use any power saving features on any of mine, I just use a screen saver. My main concern if it were mine is why is it getting that hot. Do you have it on battery or is it plugged in? Have you checked to see if the battery is not one that has been recalled for over heating?

I dunno, but rather than using the power saver from the desktop properties, have you looked at and tried the one in control panel ? On my laptop the one in control panel is quite different from its desktop control. Here in control panel the Toshiba HWare control has a tab for Devices... which is set to all Devices, has optionally - setup by OS (opperating system), which is probably what I would not want, as then somethings do get goofy. A mouse wiggle, key press, or just bumping the computer wakes it up after it blanks screen and spins down the hard drive here with no problem.
