The prices for the Convention plants has not been set yet. But I'm sure it will be reasonable and not outlandish. As soon as I hear the price for sure, I'll post it here. Answers to other questions I saw on this thread: Â You can attend the vending, hosta show and auction without registering. Â You don't have to be member of a hosta society (or the AHS) to register and attend the convention. We want first timers! But be warned, that's how we catch you! LOL! I found out the other day, that Nick Carter, the current President of the Indianapolis Hosta Society, came to the 1997 Convention in Indy as a visitor, immediately joined the organization and now look at him. Â Registration for Indy will be limited and yes, most conventions have had to turn away the latecomers. This is because there is usually only a limited number that can be seated in the banquet rooms and on the buses - which have to be pre-reserved for the tours. Yes, if you round off that far corner, bring it out a bit, you can just continue cutting that grass without butting against the borders in the corner. It really needs to be a rounded off spot for easy cutting. Which will bring out the bed a wee bit further. And Don, have you tried Ludi's trick of the tall ladder for picture taking? Of course, his neighbors thought he was nuts to be up there to take pictures of his hosta.....??? In your case, I think they may wonder why you are up there....looking over the fence perhaps? Taking pictures of them and NOT your hosta? I mean, who would get out a ladder to take pictures of their flower beds. (other than Ludi and a few other hosta lovers)....thinking about doing that myself, since all is flatland around here.

Just walk away from Lemon Juice, McT. HVX straight from the hybridizer. As beautiful as it was, it was diagnosed immediately after I got it. Positive test result. Not worth the risk on this one. I'd love to have it, too. Luckily, I noticed it immediately and nothing else was infected.
