Rooting Hoya Leave! A success story

Hi there,

I haven't been posting for a while. I know this issue of rooting leaves comes up pretty frequent on the forum. I personally never believe I can get a plant by rooting a leave because most people said it hardly produces new stem.

Nevertheless, I rooted it last september when I move to NYC and all of my hoyas died off. So I sticked every single hoya pieces that still looked okay in pots. A kerri leaf is the only survivor out of all hoyas I used to have :( I just look at this rooted Kerri leaf in potting soil/peat and it is sending out a shoot to greet spring! It looks very healthy :) I don't know how this happens, but just want to let you guys know if leaf is your only hope, it doesn't hurt to grow some. I'll post a picture in the gallery.

Best, Grow

PS: it was in a pot next to my "Miracle Fruit" seedling. I'm going to call this a miracle hoya then :)
