EA's kentiana is really wayetii, though many continue to call it kentiana... everyone will know what you're referring to if you call it kentiana...

It's a beautiful one with long, narrow leaves with dark margins. It's one of my favorites - here's my smaller one, which is much, much larger than when I took this photo...

It is absolutely one worth growing. In fact, I love all the species with long, narrow leaves, like shepherdii, shepherdell and minibelle. Am looking for longifolia, another of that genre. You won't regret growing any of them!

Thanks Denise I could not resist it. I found it at Walmart on my way to Las Vegas today. In fact I bought 2 because i liked the leaves. The Violet Barn has a picture of the wayetii but it looks varigated mine are all green. Do the flowers have a scent? Doesn't matter I was just excited and paid more than I should have but was so suprised to find them stuffed on the shelves that i grabbed them and took them home I am running out of windows. these are in 6 inch hanging baskets. I got started back into houseplants for Violets and someone mentioned hoyas I looked them up and now I have 4 in 8 weeks. from none to 22 house plants is really beginning to frighten my honey. I know 22 isn't a lot but for me it is something.

One more question about my Wayetiis do they require more light than the other ones i have? (bella and coronaria also can't find anyone that has this one,these came from the Violet Barn very tiny and then i have a lacunosa in a 6 inch pot)I thought about a east facing window facing my deck that is covered with sun screen, but it is also near my door going out to the deck will this be okay?

I give my wayettii quite a lot of sun, but it's probably not as intense as the sun you get. I would think an east facing window would be OK, just as long as it only got morning sun.

I find the more light mine gets the darker the edges of the leaves become - which is just beautiful!

Judging by the picture on Violet Barn's website, your coronaria may actually be australis.
