I may be wrong but it's leaves look like a night blooming jasmine

Could it be an allamanda vine? Not native, but easy care without pesticides and fertilizers, so I've seen them at the native plant sales.

Thanks chuckorlando and susannah for the suggestions. I looked both of the plants you two suggested but the jasmine seems to have longer, thinner leaves and the allamanda vine seems to have thicker, more heavily veined leaves.

Any other suggestions? You both seem to know your plants well!

plumbago scandens perhaps?

I think this is a jasmine also. I have one, but do not know the name as it was given to me.

I think the mystery is solved- thanks nativesun!! I think it is a plumbago scandens- seems to fit best with the leaves and I was told that it would have small white flowers. It has already grown a lot in the month that I have had it- beautiful and unique and native- love it!
