I figgured I would hussle and got W. CINNAMON ROLLS planted. Put it in the terraces garden were I had moved out ROMANTIC EVENING the other day. I put ROMANTIC EVENING up in the quarter pie garden with my other Don Herr intros as I had decided that W. CINNAMON ROLLS would take its place.

While I dd get one planted, it never pays to rush as I could kick myself because I broke off part of a scape on LITTLE LIGHT OF MINE, which was next to it. Thats what comes of rushing and being careless.

She just added more Westbourne's on the LA. I love their names. They put Red Eye Gravy on this time. Very nice bonus!

I know. She has a big batch this time. I had asked her after my wins last time if she was going to put RED EYE GRAVY on the LA as I really wanted it. So thats how she knew it was on my wish list. I think it was extremely generous of her to send it to me as a bonus because if she had not, I would be bidding on it right now.

I did put my bid on for WESTBOURNE SO BLUE WITHOUT TERESA. I think its so pretty.

I really like SBWT!!! I was just over on their website & they don't have the '09 intros listed there yet so I don't know what your new 1's look like. They do have quite a few that I like a lot!! I did see a pic of MCR, that is cool! I can see why you had to wait.

Here is the section of front yard were I am going to plant them this afternoon. All in a row there were you can see the white tags as spaces.

Rita, that wall is beautiful! How exciting to plant new daylilies among that great hardscape.

I have three Westbourne daylilies (none of the ones you mentioned). WB Sulfur Springs was purchased off the LA last year, and it did very well this year. The bonus she sent (WB Reunion in Heaven) is not my cup of tea. The third one I received in a trade (WB Naughty Girl Pet), and it hasn't bloomed in two years.

We'll need more photos once they're in bloom.

I had that stacked stone wall put in this spring. It runs along the total front of my property. Before that wall was there, that slope just went all the way down and met the sidewalk. I needed to do something there because I had plans to make it a daylily garden. Just haven't gotten to planting there until now. Those green plants that you can see just in back of were I planted the daylilies are my row of 165 asiatic and oriental bulb lilies. They looked stunning in bloom earlier this year.

I did get those daylilies planted today. Should look good next year at bloom season.

And here they are planted. While its only been afew days already they are growing.

I am thinking of planting the Paul Owen Seedlings that are coming along there in the second row in back of those Westbournes. Its difficult to see from the scale of the picture but theres room and a second row of daylilies was always planned for this area. Just had not been planned for this fall.

My other spot I might plant them in is in my backyard but I would have to move my OFF BEAT and JULIE NEWMAR. We will see how ambitious I get as I really would prefer them in the backyard spot instead of the front yard spot. But then maybe the front is better as passersby get to see them. Decisions, decisions.

It looks like people are really catching on to these on the LA. I like a lot of them, but no more spending of the $ for me this year. I think it is clever she is putting her '09 intros on there like this, makes for great advertising for next year & get people excited about them. Once again, I just love the names...they crack me up.

There are some more listed on the LA right now, including some of the 2009 intros again. Some ending in about 11 hours. Very few have any bids so anyone interested go take a look. Search under seller name bubbles.
