WAVES BECOME WINGS (with TECHNY PEACE) is a great, great late bloomer. I highly recommend this one as a season extender.

Debra, I think this alphabet group has more of my favorites than the others. I added SPARTICUS ADORNED last year, but it's in really bad dirt with little water and the blooms weren't pretty enough to photograph. That one will have to be moved soon.

I can see I'll have to add a bunch from this group. I love Unity Conciousness, Vulcan Logic, Slipped My Disco and Waves Become Wings.

Love the looks of these, I don't have many Hansons. I seem to be going with the crowd, love Vulcan Logic, Spiritual Corridor, Slipped my disco, & there is something about Photon Torpedo that I like. I have Tuscawilla Blackout, Tuscawilla Tigress, & Primal Scream which are all great. Also have Tuscawilla Bill Reed, new last fall & did ok but I'm hoping for better next year. I think the only one I have that hasn't been shown that I have a pic of is Tuscawilla Blackout, I don't know why I don't have a picture of the others.

Likewise, my ROCK LOBSTER ( a little splotchy here) doesn't seem to show the bitone effect. I'm pretty sure this came from Curt though.

Floota, I don't think you have SPARTICUS ADORNED. All the photos I've seen look like Debra's pic. ROCK LOBSTER (also directly from Curt) isn't always a bi-tone, and isn't always pinched -- it tends to do its own thing. I liked the way it looked in this photo.

Love my Hanson daylilies there are around twenty here. Wind In The Rigging, Swallow Tail Kite, Primal Scream, Joan Derifield, Women Seeking Men, Bela Lugosi and Troubled Sleep are a few of the favorites. Actually I guess most of them are favorites. Each year a couple more are added so the list of favs grows.

Oops, sorry :) I knew they didn't look right, but I had Hansen written in my notes. I looked back on Tinkers & realize my mistake. That means I only have a couple of Hansen's then, Bela Lugosi & Primal Scream. Definitely will have to get more.

Well, I must say, I like the real SPARTACUS ADORNED much better than the impostor I've been growing ! I went back and checked my records, and I got this so long ago that I didn't have the source listed. I'm thinking that it might have come from a club auction. But we had gotten club plants from Curt two years before, so I wonder if this could be something else of his? If anyone has a clue, please let me know. It is fairly tall, about the correct registered height of SPARTACUS ADORNED, and even with all the garden visitors(I have an AHS Display Garden and had an open garden for the 2005 Regional when lots of garden judges visited)no one has ever told me this was the wrong cultivar, so I was clueless.

Yeah, I do like that WOMEN SEEKING MEN. I like the color with the white midribs combo.

Floota, it looks a little like INSIDE INFORMER, although yours appears more reddish/violet than mine. Just a thought . . .

Sure some real beauties, here, but my favorites are TEMPORARY AND ETERNAL and VULCAN LOGIC.All are gorgeous.
