Which species of Strelitzia is this?

Was always confused by this one. I know the Giant Bird of Paradise (S. nicolae) and S. reginae. What is this one in the photo? I know it is not nicolae (which I also have), but it looks different from any other reginae I have had! It is faster growing and more robust (very vigorous). Are tree hybrids between these two species?

It is S. reginae, the Orange Bird of Paradise.

Could also be "travelers palm" Ravenala madagascarensis looks MUCH like reginae when immature . There is another S. american member of the family which also gets large but they are very hard to find . if you have TP it will show up real quick as they top 30 feet and form a distinct trunk lol
There are also several hybrids with different features . gary

Hi Could be a relative Tavelers palm Ravenala madagascarensis also there is one s. american relative but is very rarely seen. There are also many hybrids of strelitzia there is also another species so called leafless BOP but leaves are unmistakeable being cylindrical my guess would be travelers palm they get at least 30 feet even forming a trunk. very hard to tell the hybrids apart when young . gary

I have black walnut from Craft-Art. I love it! I've had it installed for two years now and I'm 100% satisfied with my choice. We bought two slabs and the island was DIY by my DH and I. We used Waterlox regular to finish, so it does give it an amber tone and a gloss finish. Oiling would change the look, as well as a matte finish. Here is a shot of my wood the day it was delivered, and after it was finished and installed I love the grain and variance of color.

Strelitzia can have many different shapes of leaves.
