Sorry about your plants and hope it will recover. Just a note of caution about cold tolerance, guidelines generally apply to mature plants planted in ground. In my experience, even mature plants grown in pots don't have the same threshold for cold resistance than the same plant in ground. I guess they do not make as much antifreeze when in pots! Also even if the forecast can be accurate, there are many microclimates in your garden and when temps are low, a few degrees lower can make a huge difference. Maybe I am overly cautious, but for plants that have a "tropical" vibe, I protect them from frost when in pots.

Your Haworthis seems to be potted too much inside of pot - add some more potting mix. You may be overwatering, or even underwatering - since you say leaves are drying up. But be careful with too much water, or plant will rot. Oldest leaves will dry up, so maybe that is all what is happening? It needs good drainage, and while it doesn't need full sun, it still needs good light. Your 2nd plant looks very etiolated - stretched from insufficient light. It needs much more sunlight. The pot it is in is most likely too big, it should also have drainage hole. It also needs very well draining potting mix - not sure what is yours made of?

How do the stems look? Leaves come and go as part of the natural progression of things. I often pick off bad looking leaves, sometimes removing them all if they all look horrible. Spray the stems for pathogens (mostly mildew). How does your soil surface look? Whatever you do, do not keep the soil wet. Let it dry somewhat and only water to keep it moist until it starts showing lots of new growth. Move outdoors when warm enough to get some new leaves, stems, and vigor. @lindac92 thank you for your response! Unfortunately I will have to repot it since it‘s in a large garbage can temporarily for transport (the old planter had broken). About 2/3 of the plant was already pruned off right before I saved it. I hadn’t thought about how I would be compounding the shock of this if I take more off for propagation. Is there any risk to the root system from the plant losing so much of its foliage at once? if so, how can I minimize the impact? I have heard of some people trimming off a proportional amount of roots to the foliage that was removed but don’t know if that applies in this instance. I’m thinking it may be best to follow your advice to leave it be after I situate it in a new pot. Give it water and sun. Wait for it to acclimate before deciding on a course of action.
