Christmas Candy, a sport of NBC, has a tetraploid white center. It doesn't burn, and has a nice growth rate. It only had one eye in 2006 when I got it. I don't count eyes after the first year, but was pleased with its appearance last year.
Slugs don't bother it, a major plus.
The leaves look wider than to me than NBC, but that could simply be that it is a more juvenile plant than my NBC. It is also supposedly is a bit smaller at maturity.

If you're looking for a hosta with a lot of white, here's the ones you have to choose from. Not sure which ones hold up without melting. Generally white-leaved plants are slower and less vigorous. Some can't survive in full shade. Don

Hello, my very first posting. I currently have 114 species of Hosta's, And growing! Building a new fence this year, to completely enclose my Back Yard. After reading through a lot of the theft, and thinking that a grower I know was over reacting about putting my back yard on lock down, A new fence, and a pad lock on the gate, will be in order.
I have more of Pandora's box, than I know what to do with! It grows like a weed for me. I must be up to 14 mature plants! So if anyone lives in the Southern Ontario part of Canada, I'm willing to trade!
For now, a great site!

Welcome to the forum! Lots of great information and fellow hosta addicts here. We are enablers in the nicest sense. I myself must have added 40 new cultivars to my collection since joining the forum last year.

Welcome Elizabeth, from one Canuck to another.... you'll find plenty of enablers here. Pandora's Box has been on my most wanted list for some time and I would love to trade in the spring. I'm on the Left Coast however, which would mean Express Post, but that's something I'm certainly not adverse to. Send me an e-mail in the spring once yours are up and we'll talk about doing some trading, you show me yours, I'll show you mine so to speak and we'll see where there's mutual interest. FWIW, don't know if you have ever checked out Hallson's Hosta Forum. Typically twice a year someone on the list volunteers to do what is called a 'Secret Trade' where names are thrown into a hat and the coordinator draws a name for each participant to send them at least one Hosta you have and they don't. Most participants do send more than one (my gracious donor actually sent me EIGHT) and some will send more than just Hostas, since most of us grow more than just Hostas. While most participants are in the US, last year's was organized by a Montreal gal and there was Canadian participation a-plenty.

BTW, not to be nitpicky, but you cannot have 114 species of Hostas, there aren't that many species -seems to me the total number is around 35 to 40 or so- you do have 114 varieties though and I'd bet that with the possible exception of perhaps one or 2 all of what you have are cultivars,which have come about as a result of hybridizing and/or sporting and originated as a result of gardening practices/activities rather than come from the wild.
