Things to do when there aren't many blooms

My husband and I have been used to seeing and photographing many, many daylily blooms over the past six weeks. Now that the season is ending, we're tryng to fill the void.

Yesterday, we decided the few still blooming needed glamour shots. (My husband is a professional photographer.) We dragged his huge reflector/black background out in the yard and photographed these:

CHARLIE

MOONLIGHT SAIL

WATCHYL LADY BUTTERFLY

Then, not knowing what to do with ourselves, we photographed each other.

Dear husband taking photo of me in front of Rose Of Sharon bush. (The photo of me didn't turn out well.)

Later, in the evening, we had to resort to photographing our sprinkler in a bed of nakes scapes.

Faced with lack of blooms, I went out and bought pentunias and planted them in an old hanging basket.

Egads, if this keeps up, I may actually have to clean my house. LOL
