A N Y O N E ?--got mail--thru G .W , lately??

I know Phil/hostafreak has had problems, getting his mail and it seems like Nancy/bunnycat may have, also! I've sent both of you messages

from GW post and am wondering, have you EVER YET (these past two days) received ANYTHING through the GW system?

Goodevening All, Just brought myself up to date on the postings. Dan, have you had a hard or is your sugar acting up again? I have also recieved all my FG's. It's been a great trade. Faye, I recieved my FG's today. Thank You so much. They are already in my room and put into the box for the next project. So...I can't discribe what they look like, but they are cool. THANKS again. Bev, Have you decided on the water bottle tote? The machine that cuts Applique pieces is called AccuQuilt Fabric-Cutting Machine. When I was a Libraian we had a like machine for cutting paper For projects. I have never used one for material. Thanks to all for making this a great trading stop. Lol, I call him Niagara Rob. Either name, it will finally be great to meet! I wrote the following for Mark and everyone over on another forum, but I know some people don't go there. Hopefully this answers a few questions and if makes a few questions arise, great. It is always good to work the kinks out in advance. The cottage is very easy to get to because it is the same exit and direction as Beaver Island State Park. The cottage has lots of space. People can park on the front yard as long as it stays fairly dry like it has been. There is a lot of street parking too. The back yard is huge. You can easily fit a few hundred people. There is a covered porch that accomodates quite a few people. The garage is also clean and normally is filled with tables for parties. There is also a wooden swingset and toys for kids. Beyond the backyard is woods with hiking paths which is still part of the property. There is a fire pit. The cottage is like a small ranch with full kitchen and a couple of bathrooms. There are lots of excess tables and chairs, a couple grills, most all supplies needed for a party. I was envisioning a party advertised here, on GW, and invite local friends we know, but not outside of that being that it is private property. So it would be a party for growers to celebrate their harvest with other gardeners, not people looking for an event to attend. I believe this is how CHOPTAG began. People would bring a dish to eat or other supplies like pop if they chose not to make food, and tomatoes they grew for a tasting. We could vote on them, maybe even by categories. Of course, I will be stealing any ideas I can from the CHOPTAG tasting.(I am going to their party.) Remy

I received my wonderful box from Jeanette! It was full to the brim with bright orange and black wrapped surprises! I got: a wonderful Halloween kitchen towel. I love to change my kitchen towels for the season and didn't have a Halloween-themed one - thanks! a cute pumpkin votive candle holder with a scented candle in it a black and orange paper lantern a wonderfully scented potpurri mix a halloween wind sock a spider web wine/champagne goblet (so cute!) a spider on a spring a silver starred Halloween hat (sorry Jeanette - no digital camera to take a picture - my daughter kept saying "you're not going to wear that in front of my friends are you? - LOL!" a spooky hanging ghosty that emits an eeery sound - scares the daylights out of my little dog......... mummy's passion fruit tea bags and a ghost tin of chocolate kisses (oops all gone - how did that happen he he) Thanks Jeanette! I was able to correspond with Phil because he posted his email address out in the open. Sent you an email yesterday, but haven't received anything back from you. Gardenweb just ain't working the way it used to before the take-over.

I sent a note to Bean-Counter who lives close to me (35 miles) and was ignored and thought they didn't want to correspond with me! Maybe he just didn't get my mail as I did it through GW My faith in mankind has been restored!!!

Come to think of it sonKen wasn't able to contact me either through GW.

So B-C write me at ladytea1941@aol.com if you see this.

Hope this shouldn't be a new post!?! I never know what is the correct edicate!

Yep, that worked! Janice emailed me to let she know she got hers, and the one I sent to myself went through too. All within a matter of seconds. Odd, isn't it?

I bet, it's making up for lost time on someone's part! :o)

Now, maybe you should start another thread to follow up the original "Pet Peeves"! You could call it "Pet Peeves, Not-Neutered"!

Phil--that is just WEIRD!! No, I haven't! How does your name come across when it enters a mailbox? I've checked emails in spam folders, delete files and those I delete for subject lines, etc.! Try responding with a subject line that says "Phil, here--coming at you"! I'll look for it, but then the spyware will have picked up on this already and I will be getting dozens of emails with some form of those words, but I'll be very industrious and scrutinize carefully!

I emailed Richard/deshima last night and received a response this morning so I know it's working on our end!!

Have you experienced others saying they've not received mail from you--from your server?

Ken--you didn't recieve the email I sent you?? Good grief!!!
