the goldfish plant can be pinched back - you will get 2 branches from just below where you pinch, almost in a Y formation. I have pinched mine back several times, and it's a much fuller plant. It does look a little wild right now because of all the new growth, but I'm thinking of repotting it into a hanging basket this spring. I have found it to be a very fast-growing and fun plant - it's one of my favorites right now. Enjoy it!

looks like my purple profusion crabapple ... link dusky flower and somewhat red leaves ... the point they are making.. that they are bulbs ... is that you divide clumps of the bulbs .. to get more.. that will bloom fast ... though they can be grown from seed ... it will take quite a few years ... especially for the H to grow the bulb.. to get to the point of being able to flower ... bulbs are bought and planted in fall ... so they can grow roots.. to bloom the next spring ... with one flower per bulb.. i would guess.. you have at least 5 mature grape hyacinth bulbs there ... and probably a bunch of babes ..... but i would leave the clump alone for a few more years.. ken

Hi Esther, No offset on mine yet. I am hoping it will make one this summer. There is a small plant in the pot too, but it is a completely separate plant. This one will keep making more leaves for years and eventually trail . It would be good in a hanging basket. It needs to be out of the way though, I don't want to bump into it!
