Transplanted lavender - cut off flower buds?

Hi,

I have a lavender question that I am hoping somebody here knows the answer to. I transplanted some smaller lavender plants (about a year + old) about a month ago and some 2 months ago.

The transplanted ones seem to still be the light green/grayish color leaves whereas the ones that were not moved have a lot of new dark green growth. All plants now have flower buds. My questions are - is it normal for the moved ones to be having the gray/green leaves? Should I cut off the flower buds on the transplanted ones to help the plant settle first? I watered the plants every 2-3 days for the first two weeks and then about once a week. Should I do something else to help the plants?

Any help is much appreciated!

Thanks

Mo
