Kay, Madonna Arsenault is new for me, I bought her last fall. I was waiting for her to open and I think it was worth the wait! Jean, thanks for the comments about the seedlings. MA is a beauty isn't she? Mantis, Stephanie has been here two years and is improving each year. Maximus, Lexington Avenue has also been here 2 years. The first year she was buried under an annual shrubby plant that grew taller than her, 4'. I moved her to a raised bed in full sun and now she puts on a great show. Marg

Wonderful blooms! Greywoods Goodnight Irene jumped out at me because it's been on my wish list in the past, but I've never gotten around to buying it. How does that one do for you? Others I especially liked were Spacecoast Blastoff and Thieving Magpie. How are those in the performance department? Once again, Robin's Tuition makes a gorgeous clump. That one is a Yost, isn't it? Does anyone know if Yost Gardens still sells plant? The website is still acessible, but it doesn't seem to have been updated in five or six years. Debra

These pictures were from last Wednesday and Thursday, there are a lot fewer daylily blooms now. This is a picture from yesterday evening. Mantis, I see that Atomic Inferno is registered at 8" - I haven't measured, but I would guess that's about right.

That's funny Ruth. Sherry Lane Carr was one of my oldest daylilies here. It grew contentedly and productively for many many years until a daylily friend of mine saw it and had to have it. I gifted it to her as it was time to move on to other yellows......Shores of Time got to bloom last year before going down for the count over last winter. Upon seeing that bloom I was reminded of why I kept trying to grow her. What a pretty thing she is and why I enjoyed seeing yours...........Maryl
