Boboz, I started mine in 6 parts perlite, 3 parts sphagnum, and 3 parts organic potting soil. They all came up well, but now unfortunately I have lost them all, the last 2 today due to damping off. I don't know why, but the last few days, some of my sprouts just decided to poop out on me. They were doing so well, I really don't understand what happened. I'm very disapointed. Especially at the loss of all my hibs. Good luck with yours! Daniella

According to the Miele brochure they offer a plate insert that will allow plates of up to 13 3/4 inches. This insert is used in place of one of the inserts in the lower rack, so you can't use it if you are getting a model that does not come with a lower rack that can use inserts. I have two of them but so far have never used them. Also if you are going to the store to try out your plates here is a hint. When the lower rack is pulled out into the door it's height is slightly higher than when it is in the machine, so when trying your plates to see if they fit make sure you push all of the racks Into the machine and then take a look and spin the center wash warm to see if it clears

Just brought home new DW. Extremely disappointed. I contacted store to return it. Shocked when I realized dishes that will fit in this high-end, expensive DW, is basic Corelle, with 4 oz bowl, tiny coffee cups, with saucers! No way is this going to fit our needs. Hoping we can resolve this. I thought I had a handle on what to look for - needless to say, I'm pouring over websites that sell DW. Looking in specs to see what size plate they say will fit. Ironically, our 11" plates fit, heightwise, but I had to skip a space, using every other slot. Meanwhile, I'm washing dishes! Wish I had the old one.
