toronado, I'm in shock! 8-o We do have a bunch of them in this area, though I only see them in the distance and recognize the fall color. pitimpinai, years ago when I worked in Chicago, there was a small one just around the corner from where I worked, in front of a co-worker's parents' house. I think they got it through a City program where homeowners could choose from several different types of (allegedly-appropriate) trees, and the City would plant one in the parking strip.

SARAH: No, Not really.I know I had between 10 and 15 the first of last year, most being Stella D Ore's, Pardon Me, and Little Wart. I use to spend my days looking at pictures of gorgeous daylilies,and wishing I could afford to buy me some of them.Way back then, before my oldest daughter bought me a computer and a "COMPUTERS FOR DUMMIES" book to study and learn how to use a computer,I thought all daylilies was these ditch lilies,and not really pretty.After I learned how to use the pc,and found the forum,I knew they have some real beauties out there, and I use to just daydream of having just a few of them.My dreams came true last year when most of my daylilies was given to me as a gift.I am very thankful for the friends that chose to share theirs with me. A very pretty shade of pink.MAYBELINE EYES wa just a tad darker, the eye, just a little bit darker,and that hot sun faded it just a little.Still gorgeous, anyway. KAY: yes,I have blooms every where.My street out front is pretty busy in the evening this time of year with people walking up and down the street,and alot of t hem, when I am out in the yard, stop to compliment the yard, how pretty it is.One of my daughters told a neighbor of mine that my yard is looking like a jungle to her,and my neighbor told h er well if it does, its the prettest jungle hes ever seen.She don't have hardly any flowers in her yard.She got disgusted with the deer eating up everything she planted and quit having any flowers. Albert thanks for that response. I had forgotten about the test forums. Sue...thanks for your help. :-) I managed to straighten it all out yesterday. Tinypic was very easy to work with. I contacted them through their website and they explained to me how to find the address and all I had to do was send that to them and they removed it within 15 minutes. Yes, it left the red Xs just like the photobucket removals. I am going to slow down and be more careful what I am posting..lol. They had to start a new thread after my photo was causing everyone to scroll from left to right to read it. *sigh* All worked out now though... :-) thanks a lot! pm2

LOL Lady, don't be so drastic...three years and it's still not done...don't put yourself through that hell LOL (But thank you) Red I like the redesign. I'd agree I don't care for your designers idea. A bit too random as you've noted, and really, the biggest thing in the room should be a focal point...ie the tub, which is why ours is where it is. In that pic with the tub you see a brown area right at the bottom of the picture, that's the step (it's up 12"). You step on that, sit on the side and swing your legs over. It looks high, but the specs don't even call for that much of a step (I am not as tall as the average american). What you can't see is that the tub is sort of hot tub style, so when you swing your legs over you're not dropping into a deep bowl, but instead half of the bottom is a seat (so when you sit you have water to your shoulders). We did purchase some grab bars, and when the frame was built it was reinforced for them, but so far we're finding them not necessary. We also have a fold out step that was going to be installed in the little area built into the tub surround. Again it's made for the step, reinforced etc) but we've not felt the need. Personally, in an ideal world, I would have had two steps, which is what the hotel where I saw this tub had (hotel vintage plaza in portland oregon). They of course have to plan for young and old using it and with that in mind, did the extra wide and big steps up. Most high soaking tubs just have a kick stool behind them to use to get in. I wanted a bit more substantial support...just incase I got drunk in the tub (a wonderful place to drink wine and rest LOL) and had to get out. (I'm somewhat kidding..but in my mind, naked and slippery, and a little stool seem like an embaressing accident in the making). Red, because you didn't ask, I didn't post the shower...but it appears it might be an idea for you...half wall there on the side for privacy from the toilet, and then long and narrow (we think this shower is the best design feature of the whole house after getting rid of our 2.5' x 2.5' box). It's kitty corner from the tub: Your set up would have some separation from the shower verses mine, but personally still...I don't want to shower and look at the potty...especially in a room shared by two adults...one of whom might be a man who poops...(women don't poop according to my grandfather so that's not a concern)
